While the global music scene stagnated amidst the coronavirus pandemic, an exclusive DJ mix held solely for invited guests has been recorded. Playing the set is DJ MITSU THE BEATS, who has garnered worldwide acclaim as a DJ, beatmaker, and producer. In October, near the end of 2020, a special 60-minute session was delivered from Club Shaft in his hometown of Sendai. Surprisingly, the track selection consists exclusively of 90’s hip-hop. It is a playlist filled entirely with classics that could be considered his roots.

He is a member of the Sendai-based hip-hop unit GAGLE, whose member MC HUNGER is his younger brother, and he joined MC HUNGER and DJ Mu-R in 1996 to form " He formed "GAGLE" and started his career as a unit, and released his solo album "New Awakening" in 2003. He has been active as a world-class DJ, collaborating with international artists while also producing externally. The following year, he was selected as the only Japanese artist to be included in the "100 Artists to Look Forward to" list by L.A.'s URB magazine. The following year, he was selected as one of the "100 Artists to Look Forward to" by L.A. Urban magazine. He is always in the spotlight as a world-class artist.
